Guinness World Record-Pica

Michel Lotito (1950-2007), aka "Monsieur Eat-Anything-goes", was a French performer who truly deserved the moniker. Metal, rubber, glass... Anything you can name, he can eat. For his efforts, he earned the Guinness Book of Records for the world's strangest eating habits.
Lotito first appeared in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1979, when he was recognized by Guinness for eating a bicycle over a 15-day period between March 17 and April 2, 1977, joining other fast food records in the "binge eating" category. A year later, he broke his own record by eating more than 6.8kg of his bike in 12 days. After this, Lotito's challenge is to eat a small plane. He ate an entire Cessna 150 piece by piece between 1978 and 1980. By 1999, Lotito had eaten 18 bikes. In addition, he has now eaten 15 supermarket trolleys, six chandeliers, two beds, a pair of skis, a computer and a coffin (including the handles).
It is estimated that Lotito ate more than nine tons of metal in his lifetime, including the Guinness World Records brass plaque we awarded him.
